Michael was regularly published in magazines such as Northlight, Gairfish, The McAvantGarde, Open World, Tears In The Fence, Southfields, The North and Odyssey. He released five collections of his poetry Echoes in 1988, Chosen Poems in 1989, Without Pain/Without Place in 1992, At Attica in 1993 and a further and final collection in 1994 - Hollow Dream. Michael ran The Lewes Poetry Writing Workshop and was a committee member of The Brighton Poets. Over 100 of Michael’s poems from his five collections, including many unpublished rarities can now be found exclusively in ECHOES - A 25th anniversary celebration.
